Pleasanton hosts Hometown Holiday Celebration on Main Street December 5
By Local Pleasanton news desk
The City of Pleasanton is holding its Hometown Holiday Celebration on Main Street in Downtown Pleasanton on Saturday, December 5, 2026, starting with a parade at 5:00 p.m. followed by a community tree lighting ceremony.
The City is now accepting parade registrations, volunteer applications, and sponsorships.
Tracy Newman, Recreation Supervisor, said “The Hometown Holiday Celebration is one of Pleasanton’s beloved traditions, and the one time of year we bring the entire community together. This event could not happen without the many dedicated volunteers who help bring it to life,” and added “Whether you want to be in the parade, volunteer, sponsor, or be the voice that announces the floats and bands, we’d love to have you be part of the celebration.”
